The Fabulous Five

Hooray! The rule of six returns today and to celebrate this I wanted to share photographs from a family photo shoot I did last Autumn before lockdown 2, (how was that only six months ago, and feel like two years ago)?

A lovely client whom I had taken their wedding and family photographs bought the portrait shoot as a gift for their sister-in-law. it’s always such a joy to have repeat customers, it feels like you are doing something right.

We went to Tilgate Park in Crawley. I hadn’t been there for many years and I had forgotten how lovely it was. There was a beautiful (if cold) mist over the pond, and the leaves were all starting to change into different shades of reds, yellows and oranges. I met this wonderful family there early in the morning. We walked around the park stopping when we saw a beautiful backdrop or a magnificent tree for the children to stand in front of or then climb and swing on. It was such a lovely morning and I was so pleased with the pictures. The children were a delight and an absolute pleasure to photograph. It always helps if the children are happy to engage in the shoot and these three were superstars, even giving me the occasional suggestion of where to take a photograph. We also had a great chat about school, birthdays and my new kitten. I have really missed these interactions and have particularly missed taking photographs of fantastic children like these three, it’s always such fun.

I am able to take location family portraits again. The cost is £75 for one hour with unlimited images on a usb.
